95 integra 5speed, 92-93 b18b integra engine just swapped in. dont ask why i put a da motor in. cheaper and immediately available.

anyhow, i changed thermostat. still over heating. i bled the coolant system with heater on hot but it wasnt full blast for the whole time. there werent many if any air bubbles comming out of the rad.

i did use the bleeder screw, tightened when steady stream came out, filled rad up, turned on car till the fan cycled on and off twice, put the rad cap back on

my fan does come on, but it doesnt seem like its comming on when driving

so heres my symptoms:
- car at idle does not over heat
- driving for no more than 5 minutes the car will over heat
- little heat blowing out of heater
- when i down shift and accelerate and get moving faster the temp will go down but only so far, and eventually will work its way back up once im cruising at a low rpm and steady speed

please dont say its my water pump :(

well i dint say water pump, lol, but if it was me id check and fill it a few more times to make sure there 0 air. then if its doing it i would check the thermostat to make sure its not in backwords and is working you can boil it in a pot of water to see if it opens sometimes you can buy a new one and it be bad, and if all that checks out and the fan works then theres only one thing left if you not losing fluid thats a pump

im using honda premix type 2 i think. its blue. if i add water will that just raise the freezing temp? or will it destroy the coolant?

If it really is a B18B, then it's not from a DA. The 90-93 Integras had B18As...

Did you flush the rad and coolant system, cause you should be getting heat from your heater.
