We'll see man.
I think that kind of setup will render the turbo too low and will present problems with the drain line.

Oh, and like I mentioned earlier, I'm also going to build my own traction bar, utilizing weirtech's DIY kit:

I was thinking of making one too after reading that guys write-up on HMT, but got cold feet when it came to making the the mounts for the tension rods. How much does that kit run?

I think this would be good to buy for building a manifold

It looks (to me anyway) you could almost if NOT build a single runner from one of these and have a lil pipe left over.

Whatcha think?

Downpipe?

Thanks mang, that its a pretty cool mani, although take note of the swiss cheesed block.

Looks cool, but if you've already got clearance problems, adding another loop of hot pipes won't help. It also won't help keeping the compartment cool either.

Thats a true statement!

I do not think I will be doing an elephant stack. or a topmount period- it's pointless for such a small turbo...
But I think I can utilize that old header of mine! If nothing else than for the flange and some tubing. I can add some tight 90's.

ANYWAY. enough talk about manifolds. This isn't the most important thing of my build right now. I need to focus on getting this running!

Cool. Now just grind it all smooth, and polish.

That thing looks intense. Turbulant too. I'd say it's exactly what you need pre-intercooler.

wOOt!!!!

BIG Thanks to Terrance @ ezell Industries! haha
Looks SICK!!!

^^^that is a good site. it looks like they have everything needed to build your own exhaust and mani.

Update!

I'll let the pictures do all the work.
The pics of the dents in my hood is where I got a little over-zealous and beat the underside of it and it warped the top a little bit. Some of it came out, but it's still there. It's ok, though. I have that carbonfiber hood I've been thinking of repairing and using, or I can just do a little repair to this metal hood.. no biggy.

the only thing holding me back from starting it is oil.
I talked to my tuner and he said to just turn down the fuel pressure to like 15-20lbs and see if that helps it idle (with these big injectors). That way I can heat cycle it and check for leaks and such!

I'm sortof scheduled to get it tuned with him (if all goes well) next Saturday!

Dude.... what in the name of all afro-engineering is going on there....

quad band clamps......

Hey man, whatever it takes to get the job done! I've used MUSTARD several times in my mechanic career to figure out tolerances and whatnot  Whatever it takes ;)

Andrew, thats sweet man! When are you gonna crank it? Man, I sure hope the headgasket is ok

If guys run just 1 ok, I figure I'll run 2 to be "safe." None of my T-bolt's were small enough. :)

way ahead of you. ;) I took this last night but didn't upload until this morning. This is the "suprise" i had for ya. :D

I vote for the CF hood.

Also, make Terrance take that POS back and have them weld some beads onto the ends. Or else 10 band-clamps won't hold it on.

Also, Nice.
