eg9 with b16b

hi,
i hav an eg9 with a b16b just put in, the engine check lite is on but i tink its because of the map sensor. any ideas?, also wen i start it up it sits at 1000rpm for bou 20secs and den the check lite comes on and it jumps to 2000rpm?

forgot to say is runnin on stock vti ecu and exhaust
