plus i think the fact that he was brutally embarrassed by a junior league fighter will make him push to get legitimacy and respect.

Dana White does not consider Kimbo a real fighter. More of a side show act. He said Kimbo would have to win TUF if he wanted to fight in the UFC. Basically he has to prove he is legitimate.
And he won't. The house is packed with alcohol for a reason. To cause drama. Heavyweights run their mouths before alcohol. There will be a fight in the house. If Kimbo even makes it to the first fight(which he will be in because they will all want to fight him), he will lose. He has no work ethic in front of a camera. And those are Bas Rutten's words, not mine. He said Kimbo worked hard until he got a glimpse of real fame, not that internet celebrity crap.
Kimbo got knocked out by a stand in fighter. The fight before that got called in his favor after he landed a few hard shots. He was getting his ass kicked and was nowhere near knocking Thompson out.
Kimbo is a joke. He is not Brock Lesnar. By that I mean a "celebrity" turned MMA fighter. In the out of this world chance that Kimbo wins TUF he will get destroyed by Brock Lesnar or get a few bones broken by Frank Mir. Hell, I bet a handful of light heavyweights could take him out.

Bas Rutten is NOT a 'yes man' so I don't know what you're talking about...
Lesnar doesn't have more experience in fights than Kimbo. Lesnar has just been doing one aspect of MMA at a higher level than Kimbo has in any aspect of the sport.
Kimbo's boxing is actually decent and he's pretty damn strong. No one should look past any fighter, not even Kimbo. I agree Kimbo isn't good by any means but no one should sleep on him either...

kimbo wont fight the first fight. spike and ufc will want to delay it as long as possible. while he is there, the show will have the best ratings it's ever had.
the winner of the show wont get a title fight very soon. forrest got his title fight because he stepped in and beat the #1 contender. the heavyweight will have to win 3-4 fights in a row before they get a title shot.
I take it you don't keep up with MMA much...
Forrest did not get his title shot by beating the #1 contender. Shogun was not the #1 contender at that time. Machida and Wanderlei Silva were closer to being the #1 contenders but Machida wasn't finishing fights at that time and they were trying to get Wandy and Chuck to fight. The only reason Forrest got his shot was because he was a fan favorite and he did just happen to beat the last person to beat Rampage.
Have you seen the UFC's heavyweight division? Lesnar, Mir, Big Nog, Couture, Shane Carwin and maybe Gonzaga... Now who's left? Heath Herring? Don't make me laugh... Kongo? Sorry, too inconsistent... Cro Cop? He hasn't been the same since Gonzaga gave him a taste of his own medicine and Overeem kneed his testicles back into is stomach. Point is, the heavyweight division is as shallow as can get and the next heavyweight winner of TUF could very well get a title shot right off the bat.

Heavyweight is a weak class. especially with tim silvia gone. not that i liked him, but he had the title for a while. couture hates the ufc and would rather be a coach at this point.
i think if the TUF winner beats congo, carwin, or some other contender, they could get a shot. but it wont be their first official UFC fight. Hell, Lesnar had to win 1 fight first.
