ok i just bought a 93 civic lx sedan. i have been driving it for about amonth now and i realized that 102hp and 98tq sucks. so i have started lookin at cheap ebay turbo kits just as a quick boost in power. but im not sure if i should go with the cheap ebay turbo kit cause i dont know how reliable it would be. does any one on here any experance with the ebay turbo kits?

oh the kit im looking at is D-Series TURBO KIT D15/D16 CIVIC INTEGRA DEL SOL T3/T4:eBay Motors (item 270426797077 end time Jul-21-09 23:15:00 PDT)

In the end it will be less expensive to just get a good kit. I have a e-gay kit and i had to modify so much shit to get it to fit right. Now iam up grading all the shitty parts. So yeah its cheaper and better to just get a good kit. And with the kit you will need chipped ecu bigger injectors, a good dyno tune. Bigger feul pump and thats just to start

i think im just going to buy the kit i want one piece at a time. i dont want to push alot of psi(maybe only like .2-.4 bar). yes know that might sound stupid to some. but i have no need to go super fast with a 93 civic sedan. i have my 91 si for that :) my sedan s going to be a "family" car. me and my girlfriend just had our first child a few months ago.

yeah i've seen that the greddy kits for cheap. but is the greddy kit a/c friendly? cause im out here in austin and its been hot as hell for the past month (almost ever day 100+).

yeah im sure it is, but im not 100% sure on that

yeah iam in dallas area.....and on the hot days my car runs a little warm....not all the way hot but hotter than it should. you may wanjt to up grade your cooling system also.

upgrading the cooling system was already part of the plan. i planing to use oil cooler, spoon or mugen fan swich, mugen thermostat, thermal intake gasket and anything else i can find out here to make it run cooler.
