well im gettin code 54 for my b20b in my 96 hatch . ive searched and found links to bypass it and all .. but was just wondering where the CKF acturally is .. i dont see it by the pully like on my LS(obd2 also) .. on the LS it had a wire coming out from the pully and on the b20b i didnt see any .. so i was jw . i might give that bypass CKF a try when i acturally get some of those splice wire tap . where might i be able to find some locally? home depot? auto zone? kragen? ...

ok did some reading and guess some b20 dont have the ckf sensor . i guess my only options now are to do the bypass or go obd1 . jumper harness are pricy . but i guess ill look into going obd1 .. :(

You could always try the bypass because it is relatively cheap and then go OBD1 if it doesn't work or if you choose to later.

its cheaper and easier to do the ckp bypass,i did that on my swap, havnt had any problems since...

thx yall .. well i did it and what do you know . it went away.. but is that good that it went away or is it bad that it went away without acturally fixing the problem .. but then again how do you fix the problem when there isnt a harness for teh ckf . swap out oil pumps for the LS with the ckf plugs? .. too much work .. lol . ill stick with the bypass for now .. dunno if the cheap ebay jumper harness is good enough ..any one have any exp with them? .. :D

youre good to go bro,if there is no cels then you have nothing to worry about, this is whats cool about the bypass..lol

Bringing a old thread back to life I am in the process of swapping a b20b from japan were a b20z4 used to be and heard you have to change the oil pump and add the sensor. If there's a way to bypass it and not have to do all that I'm in!!! What do you have to jump, change or? Any body who has done this swap I'm all ear's. Thanks John
