I have a 91 CRX HF with a B16a swap. Using an LS trans with ls axles/int shaft (all 91 integra stuff)

Anyway, I was wondering if you guys have found a particular set of axles that work best in the EFs? I noticed when installing the engine for the first time (2 years ago) that the passenger side axle (the one that goes directly into the trans) is just barely short enough to fit (like a half inch longer and it would bind). As a result of this, the axle has had a fairly short life. I got the axles from Napa, so they're lifetime warranty and I can just swap them out for free, but I'd really rather not have to every 1-2 years. Is there some other year integra/civic/etc that has a shorter passenger side axle? Or some way to make a custom axle by combining axles from different cars? (I remember hearing something about a hybrid 80's integra and DA integra axle that was shorter???). Every time it gets cold around here the axle starts making tons of noise (I don't know if the chassis shrinks just enough to kill the axle or what), and I really just want to be able to drive this thing worry free.

I saw hasport makes b series ef axles that I assume are more correct in length, but it looks like they only sell in pairs and it costs $300, not to mention that warranty issues would be a PITA with a non-local company.

the 86-89 Integra passenger side axle is about 1/4" shorter than the 90-93 Integra axle - 86-89 compressed length of 23 1/8" versus 90-93 compressed length of 23 3/8" - fits both the hub and intermediate shaft
