I have a question I have a 95 civic ex and when I run my car for awhile or its pretty hot out and I go to start my car my engine ildes up and down and stalhs out. What would cause that, possible the iacv?

I have a question I have a 95 civic ex and when I run my car for awhile or its pretty hot out and I go to start my car my engine ildes up and down and stalhs out. What would cause that, possible the iacv?

that and the fast idle valve. they get clogged up from people not doing regular coolant services. sometimes like all older parts though they just get old and quit working but tese parts are usually the cause of the idle going up and down while idleing. stalling though shouldnt happen. its possible your car just needs the fast idle valve or iacv (or both) and a tune up
