For all you PS3 guys, sorry about ragging on ya'll about having one. In 2007 I was over at my brothers for thanksgiving when he showed me COD4 the mission "All Ghillied Up"... at the beginning when Capt McMillen was laying in the grass you couldn't see him until he stood up. Thus began my obsession with the COD franchise. The next day I went to the store and bought a 360. Had he been on a PS3, I would have bought that instead. This is the only reason I have a 360 over a PS3.

For the 360 guys, do you remember what your very first achievement was? Mine obviously came from COD4, I "Earned a Wingdinger" on 11/22/07.

PS3 guys, on these games, do the trophies coincide with the achievements on the 360? I've never really played the PS3 a whole lot.

What are some of your favorite games? I'm not a fan of Halo at all, but I believe my favorite campaign game was from WaW, with a close second being the Battlestations duo (Midway and Pacific).

I'm hoping to get some ideas for different games to play in the future once I finish off Black Ops.

I'm on need for speed hot pursuit right now. It's a lot of fun, check out the demo! Have no idea what my first trophy was.

Yep, for multiplat games the achievements and trophies are the same. I can't remember what my first one was, probably something in Uncharted 2 on the PS3, and for the 360, no idea! It's been way too long. I think I got my 360 in 2006...

my first xbox 360 acheivement was when my ex girlfriend blew me while playing Assasins Creed and then my second acheivement was selling my xbox 360---True story

ahh the good old days. this chick jess i messed around with blew me a few times while i played forza.

First 360 Achievement - Completed Training - Call of Duty 2 - 1/20/07

I think anyway, this is going off what xbox.com has listed. Some of the titles do not have dates listed but to the best of my knowledge that is the first.

Hardest Achievement - Tie between Mile High Club MW2 and Project Gotham Racing 1 on the original xbox.

Now the Gotham Racing achievement is not actually an achievement. But it is a neat/nerdy/losery story though. One of the editors at the Official Xbox Magazine wrote a blurb about the highest high score in Gotham Racing history as far as he knew. I dont remember the course it was on but I do remember you had to do it with the Corvette. Which anyone who has played the original PGR knows is a pain in the ass to drive. Well I beat his high score by about 2500 points. He was talking shit about how its just about impossible to score any higher than what he posted. I lost track of the magazine and the pictures I took of it though sadly

Halo 3 has some retardedly hard achievements though. Which at the time they put them out devs where not supposed to be making online achievements because they thought people would whore around to get the gamerscore and screw their teammates over leading to a bad experience. Which in some cases it did.

I wish I could disable trophies/achievement they annoy me. I'd rather see a % of what's left in the game.

I really enjoy my PS3 if it wasn't for xbox live and all my friends playing on xbox I'd stick with just the PS3.

Little Big Planet is really cool if you're into building things.
Joe Danger is kick ass if you're into excite bike like games.
Mod Racers is mario kart on roids.
God of War
Resistance doesn't have the multiplayer of COD but the single player game rocks.
Uncharted Series
GT5 comes out next week.
Fat Princess is cool if you're into the capture the flag type of games.
Metal Gear
Ratchet and Clank

As to the trophies/achievement, they should be the same for both games/systems.

I think my first achievement was either in Guitar Hero, or GTA IV, But I can't go back 3 years in my records so I guess Ill never know for sure....

Also just cause 2 is great. 400 square miles of open sand box goodness. Planes cars motorcycles and boats to get around in. Tons of weapons and so much stuf to do.
