d16y8 engine build?

Hey guys, so i got a d16y8. all stock, my goal is to get this thing up to turbo and i was wondering if you all could help me out with ideas on what to upgrade in my engine so it doesn't explode. i know new camshafts, cam gears, valves, pistons, rods etc.
but what else? throw me some ideas people. (also gimme ideas on the transmission. dont want that going bye bye as well.)

97 civic ex.
engine- about 171,300 miles.

how much it will need to be built greatly depends on how much power you are looking to get out of it

to be honest. i want it to be a 10 second car.
buuut who knows whats gonna happen. i just want to get as much HP as i can out of this thing.
and still have it my daily driver.

your going to need everything to make it a 10 second car. 10's is really fast. forged eveything, a really big turbo, slicks, a fat bank account and a prayer. lol but good luck! I would go for a b20 vtec to start your build.

Uh, yeah...just FYI, The Fast and the Furious is not a good source of factual automotive performance information. A 10 second Civic that you can easily drive daily is not realistic at all...
