Search Protect by Conduit

I found this programs today and never remember installing it. From what I read just doing an uninstall would take care of it, is this correct? Should I be worried about it stealing any personal info?

What malware anitvirus is good to get? I have been told that just running the microsoft security essentials is good enough, is this true?

its one of those programs that installs with another, usually accepted automatically when you just OK the EULA instead of reading the boxes. i call them "tagalong-ware"

programs like that, don't get picked up by scanners because they are installed "legitimately" .

just remove it... we use MSE here along with AVG Business edition.

Just had to take that off my mkms computer.... also go into settings-default web search or something like that and remove it
