B18c5 Ecu Obd1 Or 2?

I own a 96 coupe and have recently bought a 2001 b18c5 motor with no ecu. I want to stay obd 2 so I don't have to buy the conversion harness, but if that means sacrificing horsepower I'll go obd 1.What would be the best ecu to buy?

the obd2 computer from the b18c5 won't plug into your car anyway.

your best bet is to get an obd2a ->1 conversion harness, and a chipped p30 custom tuned

they are, youll need a conversion harness to convert from obd2b (ecu) to obd2a (car's harness).

The P75 is the ecu youll need to use.

or you can do it the way brian (pissedoffsol) suggested and use a turned p30 that way you can have more flexability in your tuning later on down the road.

Okay, so I could just buy the coversion harness OBDA to OBDB and call it good.Performance, for now performance will have to wait due to certain finacial situation.... (broke from the cost of the c5)

this is the best way to go. if you decide to convert to 2b, your going to kill a lot of future options and youll have to spend twice the cash later.

if you want a chipped p30, contact phearable.net and they will get you an ecu with a map for your engine.
