I was thinking about relocating my Buddy Club battery behind my glove box. My question is: Will it get too hot? Will it let off any fume's into the car? Thanks for everyone's help!

what would you do if you needed to jump it?? .. just put it in the hatch if you really need to relocate it.. personally i think its fine where its at in EGs.. i would only relocate it in an EF or DA

I had an Optima battery before this one, and relocated it to the hatch, with a relocation kit from edlebrock or something like that... For some reason, the battery would not hold a charge... 14.6, 14.2, 13.8, 13.5, etc.... voltage just kept dropping. I assumed it was something to do with the wire, but it was 2 gauge all around. I don't know. I guess I'll end up doing it in the hatch anyway, but I saw someone do it in a "hondatuning" magazine, and wondered if it was safe... Thanks for your guy's help!

why are you relocating it anyways? there aren't any swaps that need that much room.

have you checked out ur altinator that could be going bad.plus I have had 2gauge in my hatch and it works wonders great starting and charging so just check ur work and make sure its right.if u have not checked ur alt just start ur car and then while its running disconnect the battery and if it runs for a sec and dies or just dies its the alternator and try that with the head lights on too cuz sometimes the alts will put out a very low voltage when going bad

Pulling the battery can burn up the diodes...terrible idea. Works on old cars, but can kill a new one.
