d15 with d16 ex vetec head

i have a 94 civic dx. recently the timing belt broke, i replaced it now the car is as loud as hell, has no power and has white smoke coming out of the back. is it doing this because the head is messed up such as the valves or, is it not timed properly.Also i have a 97 ex head, could somone please tell me how to wire it up for vetec, thank you.

yes it could if there is super white smoke wate/coolant is getting to the combustion chamber
