The new scam: Scammers have their own ATM machines. Working ATMs. You swipe your card, you get your cash, and you wander away, completely unaware of what just happened.

They capture your account information and pin with their ATMs and drain your account. They'll leave an ATM set up for a couple of days and then move them to new locations. Business owners let them because hey, how could customers with cash in their hands be bad for business?

Anyway, if an ATM machine springs out of nowhere, be wary of it.

Thats why you take your lazy goddamn ass to a branch where your debit card is dedicated to to get your money.

I never use atm machines that aren't at a bank. even if they aren't owned buy a scammer, they charge you like 5 bucks a transaction

Free at Wawa. But that's a PNC ATM.

Over here the Wawa ATMs are VA Credit Union ATMs... that just so happens to be our bank, which makes it that much better :)

I used to look for free standing ATMs and get their phone numbers. They're usually written on the phone jack the thing's hooked into.

Fun times indeed.
