so i've got a 93 sentra ser with an sr20det swap that i just put in. so far it runs ok but i've talked to a few people who say i should install a 5th gear pop out kit. i know that as long as i keep it at about 225hp it should be ok plus the tranny doesnt have that much milage on it. they say the original trannies last for a few months pending on how much you put to the wheels. i dont plan on really driving it that much. its more of a show car for now then im selling it come summer. what do you think i should do? install kit or leave it as is? just lookin for input since the guys i talked to were assholes and were just lookin to swindle me out of cash

nick, the fwd trannies are much different....

i wouldn't change it out if you're selling it soon and not driving it much. it should be fine.

i knew it was fwd, but i wasn't sure what the pop out kit was. i based my answer off of it being in good shape and her wanting to sell it.

if it aint broke, don't fix it.

the pop out kit is basicly a bushing

and a PITA to put in

The last couple I bought I paid $250 for one and $400 for another w/an aftermarket LSD
