Well my soon to be brother in law purchased a 00 Type R for 5k with 75k miles on it and yes the title is normal. The car was so cheap because our friend of many years blew the motor and just needed quick cash after since he just got married and has another car. Great price so we started to order some parts. We lucked out since the real problem was just that he had a spark plug tip drop in the motor and the only real damage was to the head so we fixed that by buying a brand new bare r head for $400
All its missing are cams and valves, lma's, valve springs.
So an order with JHP USA was placed and 3 weeks later the items finally arrived. I was not happy with their service at all and had to act like an asshole to get the parts shipped finally. I don't recommend them at all. Being lied to 3-4 times about the items really was not cool. Anyways here they are, supertech chrome flat face valves, stage 1 pro series skunk2 cams, hondata gasket.
Then we went with an obd2 to 1 conversion and ecu from the trustworthy phearable.net! We also went with Arp head studs from Summit racing who always has the best prices on this particular item.
Well thats it for now, the head should be assembled sometime in the next week or two so I will post when I have more to show.
