so i jsut bought a pair of tenzo r lowering springs i dont kow any one who has them in my area to ask and see how they rode so i was wandering how the ride was smooth or rough as all hell

making rediculous non-tech-related posts in a tech-related thread warrants negative rep points.

so i got the springs on and they dont ride like shit and i dont think i ever met ne one who rode on shit but ohwell

If you're still using stock struts you'll probably need some new ones in the near future. How much are those springs supposed to lower the car?

90$ and there supposed to lower 2 in all the way around but i had to put spacers from a a set of coilovers in the front cause it lowered it to much and the strut was clunking around on the inner fender so i was just riding on spring so but i do need new struts though

haha...now that's high quality right there.

sorry i have to work for my parts and my parents dont buy me everything

Are you saying that my parents buy me everything? I live a couplea hundred miles from my parents. I was thrown out of my parent's house when I was 16. I paid my way through school and worked full-time while I was in school, and work full-time now. I got where I am today on my own.

My parents don't, nor have they ever, bought me ANYTHING.

And I still wouldn't buy shitty-ass Tenzo R springs that would require me to buy ebay coilover spacers to make them work, and STILL ride like shit.

You = asshat.

Kinda harsh, but I'm gonna have to agree. If I didn't have the money to buy the quality setup that I wanted, and take care of shocks and springs at the same time, then I would just wait and save my money rather than settle for something of lesser quality and then just tell everyone, "well I'm on a budget here."

The problem with settling for cheap stuff is that you're probably going to end up replacing it with better stuff later anyway, so you might as well just save up and do it right the first time.

Now as far as the Tenzo R springs go, I'm sure they're not the worst springs ever. I mean, Tenzo is somewhat of a reputable brand and the springs did cost $90. I'm sure they're much better than a set of $20 no-name brand eBay springs, but still, I probably would of forked out a few more bucks for some Eibachs or H&R/Neuspeeds, something that you know for sure is decent quality and will fit and perform well.

Also, I would have done the shocks at the same time as the springs. I understand you were probably excited about getting your car lowered, but it would have made a lot more sense to do shocks and springs at the same time, since you have to take the whole assembly apart to change the springs anyway.

There's my 2 cents on the subject...

i also agree with u about the shocks but like u said i am on a budget i live an hour away from my work and have other stuff to pay for but my stock springs were broke like litteraly snapped in half so i got what i could affod at the time

any one who can help me with this ? let me know thanks so i want to put new struts on my car not sure when but i want to so how do i know what to order i mean so my strut dont stick up through the innerfender like it did when i put the springs on the stock struts
