hey guys i gtoa a da a 93 integra gs and i wanna throw a 94-200 integra front end on it do u think that it will work ??? and will it be direct dolt on ??? very interested in this conversion i think it should be interesting..

I think it will be shitty looking. The DA style is boxy, it has more lines to it. The DC style is more rounded. If you put the two together it's not going to look good, it's gonna look like a DA Teg and a DC Teg hooked up and had a bastard baby; the two halves of the car aren't going to match each other.

Bad idea, in my opinion.

how about a 98 type r conversion. would that work on a DA?

It would probably look slightly better than a regular DC front end, but still, like I pointed out earlier, the DA has an older, boxier style. The DC has a newer, more rounded style. Put the two together, and you've got some POS that looks like it was hacked together from two different cars.

You can buy one piece headlights for the DA. Add a nice lip and it will look pretty sexy. I personally wouldn't mess with a 98 Type R conversion.

Please don't ruin a nice looking car by trying to swap either of those front ends on it.. it will not look good with either one of them I can guarantee you. Put all that waste of money into some power modifications and actually get something usable out of it, imo.

All the conversions you guys have mentioned have been done and can look pretty good... check out g2ic and search for some examples, if you decide to takle a project like that be prepared to have your car down for a while because with something like that you need to take your time.

But I agree with norcal, save the money for other mods. I just put a 92/93 bumper on my 90 teg, a nice lip and the jdm one pieces.

find yourself an AIT racing bodykit. I was looking into buying a 92 GS and found this kit for it. I saw it on sportcompactonly.com. I don't normally care about body work on a car but this is a sick looking body kit.

as for those pics......I saw that type-r conversion looks good. and about the other people saying don't go for it...do what you want. it is your car, your money, your time. Do it, make it look good. Its people that look outside the box when building cars, whose finished projects stick out the most.
