What are some opinions around here of the ZX7r ? There is one around me from a dealer, good mileage, pretty yellow and I've always loved the fairings.

It's at Setaro Motorsports - Chase Avenue - Waterbury, Connecticut (it's tough to link to the actual ad) but it's got pics up there. Here are a few that I could link to:

Ah... here we go.. http://www.bargainnews.com/viewad.cfm?Show_Notepad=Yes&bnAd_ID=90915868&TheDealer=1127

I wonder why they stopped making this bike. Was it a travesty or what ?

up till around 2002 or so, I've always found Kawasakis to be one of the most ugly bikes out there.

My guess is that you like skinny, spindly bikes. I like the looks of a wider bike, but I don't like the idea that because of seat width, I can't reach the damned ground.

I really like the RC55 and TL1000 those were not slim bikes.

That's why I hate the bikes. they all have the ugliest rear ends out there.

RC51 and TL1000 also have bigger rear ends but they're at least the race style and not just a big mass of crap.

I would actually have to say the most disturbing thing about the fairings on the ZX7 are the fairing support rods above the triples. My friend's have those on their ZZR6 and ZX9R, and it's just annoying.

my 12R has the same fairings as the ZZR6 and lacks the support rods.

I'm prolly going to stick with the ZX12R through this 7R ... They both cost the same, so I might as well hang out with the more valuable one. No sense in trading down for no more than 1 reason (I'm Scared!)

Took the ZX12 today to class. Can't wait to leave !

I'm not a huge fan of the zx7r. I don't like the profile of the front of the fairing. It's too bulky for my taste.

Then again, I had a pointed 05 gsxr. My next bike will be the newer cbr rr.
