H22a right hand drive lude was donor. Originally set up with some type of hybrid greddy spinner, and intercooler all that crap removed, back to header and built h22a. vtec controller, aem rail, went back to stock injectors, ACT 6 puck clutch plate and light flywheel,. Lots of time and wasted money, lol. computer ahs been "burned". i belive its from an integra? i really dont remember this car has been sitting for a number of years on back burner due to classic car projects....

Problem is CEL keeps comming on pereodicly. engine performs differently. sluggish almost. light goes out or reset the key its all good. Ask some buddys , say i need a map sensor now since i gots no boost. Not sure where it goes, not sure what to get, Any help on what the underlying problem is or what i can do to solve it or at least put me on the right path would be greatly appericiated. Thanks new to the forum by the way, looks like alot of good people round here lots of knowledge.......!
 
If the car was running on a chipped ECU set up for turbo, and you took the turbo setup off, then the ECU isn't going to run the car correctly anymore. I'd look for a stock Prelude ECU, P13 I believe it is.

And yes, you'll probably need a knock sensor. I'd hit up eBay or Craigslist for that, see if anybody has an extra one laying around. It's gonna be expensive from the dealership.

yeah the p13 thats in it has been modified for the turbo setup. DO i Still need a map sensor? along with the stock computer? Also everyone i talk at keeps telling me i need a 94-97 or so p28 box to run in this thing. Somthing about a reliblity issues on the p13. Any comments on that. Not sure if there is a knock back on here or not. ill look into that

Yes, you'll probably need the knock sensor. As far as the P13 being unreliable, I don't know why people are telling you that. It's the stock ECU for that engine, so I don't see why it would be unreliable. You certainly can run an H22 off of a P28, but it has to be chipped and loaded with an H22 basemap.

I guess you can look at it like this...if you plan on modifying this motor and tuning it in the future, then you might want to go with a chipped P28. If you're planning on keeping the engine mostly stock, then you'll be fine with the Prelude computer.
 
right then i need the p28, motor is far far from stock... forged pistons, cams, head done, i got some serious time in this beast lol. can i buy an after market computer for it with whe prom burned and ready to roll?
