i have a b17a1 complete engine and trans, the engine doesnt run it runs on like 2 cylinders and i think its a cracked head, replaced the head gasket and it did not fix problem, trans has grind in 3rd gear exedy lightweight flywheel and clutch, 98 gsr cams, arp head studs, hasport engine and trans mount...wanted to trade for a d-series complete engine and trans, preferably running condition or close to it, lmk what you got thanks
 
Where do you live? Is it a YS1 tranny?

I got a good running motor and trans, but I am in NJ :(
 
Well maybe I would ship for just the trans, but not the whole motor and trans. It would just be way too expensive. It would be cheaper to drive. Maybe we could meet somewhere in the middle? That's the only way I could see doing it for the complete motors. Where in Georgia are you?
 
Dublin, 2 hours south of Atlanta, pretty much "central georgia". I could probably meet you halfway depending on how far halfway is.
 
It cost me ~$275 to ship an Audi V6 to Texas from NJ. It cost me like 80 bucks to ship a trans to IL from NJ, but that was through UPS.
 
Yea, $70 to ship a trans is about right. The one I have is from a ZC, it's actually a pretty good tranny. Emporia VA is right in the middle of where we both live, it's about a 400 mile drive for both of us though, but I really don't feel like doing all that. If you want the trans though, I will do that. Or, if you want to just sell me the YS1 trans, let me know what you want for it because I am looking for one. It is a GSR trans right?

yeah its the 2nd gen gsr trans, really short geared. but i kinda wanted to trade my complete swap for an engine i could use.
 
I'll do the whole motor&trans for you, if you come and get it. I mean, you would be getting a fully running and driving motor and trans, I would be getting a broken motor, and a semi-broken trans ya know?
