dual over head d series (zc)

ok well i bought the head cuz it was an ebay special for 40 bucks plus shipping so im gonna try it and if it dont work i will let everyone know cuz apparently noone knows.

NO the head WILL NOT bolt to that block without major modification. It has been done a few times, but it's not worth the effort.

Yes, the only SOHC to DOHC conversion you can do without a lot of work is the F to H. But the ZC is is OBD0.

That's probably why they were selling it for so cheap in the first place...

So sell the head or use it for scrap aluminum, $0.75 a pound right now I think. And let this be a lesson learned, DO YOUR RESREACH BEFORE DOING/BUYING ANYTHING.
