Wow. Long time no see guys. I haven't been on here since I threw a K20aR into my Ek in Nov/Dec. Well, I just bought a 07' Fit. It's been one week and the lack of power is driving up a wall. I fixed this problem before. K-Series time. Im about to order an engine. Either a K24a2 or K20aR like in my Ek. Still deciding. Well I'm going to wing half of this build. Not much info present. I hope I can get a pair of mounts form Hasport.
Well here's the fit. ![]() ![]() ![]() So tell me something, lol. Anyone have any ideas? I hope klyph is around, I'd like to see the cvcc. ![]() Last edited by rawerz; 07-21-2007 at 10:39 PM. |

Ok... The only mounts I have found for a k24 and k20 are from jhpusa.com
Anyone have any info on these guys or experience. I belive they were intentionally designed for the Jdm Jazz but they say it will work on all USDM models. |

In JDM it's still a Fit, isn't it? Either way, grats on the purchase. I have two.
Well, I have one, boyfriend has the other. There's a lot of aftermarket out there, but they're still developing a lot of stuff... so give 'em another year, and that stuff will be all over.__________________

They look the same true. The majority of the parts aren't molded the same on the interior due to the RHD. The exterior body panels are different too. That's why we can't fit the JDM kits on. I'm not sure underneath the hood though.
Well I'm glad there are two other fit owners on here. I talked to a guy from Fitfreak.net he got a set of mounts and axles a few weeks ago. So, If I call Hasport I can actually get a pair of axles and motor mounts under the table hopefully. Can't wait, ^^' Last edited by rawerz; 07-22-2007 at 11:02 AM. |

JDM is still "Fit." Everywhere but the US and Japan it's "Jazz."
HASport will sell you a set of mounts (if you beg) even if they're not listed on the site- but I don't think that they're ready to release a full kit to the public yet. __________________

Nope....not for "public release" yet. I belive it's because they haven't finished with the harness. I know multiple people that have the axles and mounts though.
I'm going to try my begging skills. Last edited by rawerz; 07-22-2007 at 04:11 PM. |

Sweet!
I almost got a Fit myself not too long ago. Went with the Civic. My reasoning? Well....its from an Anime, and they were drifting what 'appeared' to look like one. Heh. Safe for work ![]() Congrats on the ride!! |

what come in it stock? fuck wasting money swapping a K, boost what's in it and have it tuned. same power, if not more; cheaper, plus if something fucks up, put it back stock and enjoy your warranty

if skunk2 had a boosted fit at like 210 hp but i heard the k24a is like 200hp stock idk that might be a lie but if it is imagine a k24a boosted 210-109=88 so if the k24a is stock with 200hp add that 88+ hp from a turbo kit and your looking at 288+ boosted honda fit
i might be wrong im just throwing that out there oh yeah and im thinking about putting a k24a into the 07 honda fit aswell |

Wow, the new D15B2 lol. Why mod one of those anyway? just enjoy the gas milage and warranty. Wait till it expires, plus by that time the "K" hype will be pretty dead and like 2g's cheaper at least. Unless of course you come by a wrecked RSX for teh ch33pness y0! then your good. yes im a HMT'er if you couldnt tell. I still say boost the 1.5, 210 is more than good for a daily. I wonder if turbo placement is any easier with the exh. mani facing the rear. I mean, at least now you can have a decent mani and still keep A/C and Power steering. __________________

210whp with turbo torque to back it up is completely different from 200hp at the crank all motor. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, but that 210whp is more like 255hp at the crank in comparison to the 200hp of the K20A2. Quote:
There's tons of room back behind the block for a turbo- the spacing to the firewall is actually pretty good. __________________

wow wow wow wait a min. i know that the boosted 210whp is diffrent from the 200hp at the crank and i was talking about the k24a and unlike the BOOSTED 255 hp at the crank the 200hp or w/e of the k24a is not boosted if that makes any sense

200 at the crank=150~60ish at the wheels + ricer 18's 130-140 at the wheels 210whp pwns 200 whp. boosted that fit would prolly be good for high to mid 13's depending on how its geared. I know ofstock block boosted d16z6's pullng high 12's on like 230whp. __________________

Boosing a Fit is pointless. For the money you're going to spend on all those parts you might as well just build a new car. The Fit's supposed to be a gas saver. If Honda wanted it to be a fast car, they would have put an engine with more than 109 HP in it.

The fit is the closest thing to a CRX that honda makes now. I think it's small size and low weight make it a great candidate for power upgrades.

I was just reading that unlike the EF's , the new fit has a solid rear axle and doesn't quite handle as well either...? Anyway it amazes me that people are pimping honda Fits, but I've never been beaten by one...

I think it has a twist beam setup in the back so not really a solid axle like older domestics, but it's definitely not an independent setup. It still handles pretty well.
