CBR 600???? Never heard that but that would be awsome. I'm 100% sure it is the tps because I watch the throttle percentage reading on my VAFC and whenever my car sputters (ex-no throttle cruising down rpms from like 4500 down to a stop) the VAFC will read a fraction of a percent, up to three...
I have a P72 on my h22 swap and it TACHS BALLS. It ran fine without the VAFC but lagged from about 4-6k rpm because the VTEC comes on before the H22 cams are ready. After the VAFC it runs much smoother with an ever so slight fuel addition. The car feels fastest and VTEC seems to kick the...
I've tried two different TPS sensors in my h22a swap and both are screwy and bounce around throttle percentages. This makes my car sort of hicup (backfire) or jerk when attemping to maintain a cretain speed. Is there anywhere I can get a new TPS without buying the 600$ TB at Honda?
Thanx
I have had a 93 si prelude for 5 years. When the H23 was in it I never missed the 1-2 shift. Now I swapped the h22 in, kept the same tranny, added act xtreme with solid 6 puc, and Since my linkage was hooked back up after the swap, I miss second like 1 out of every 3 times when I'm racing. I...
Wow, still no reply. I ran them last night (see kill stories in a minute) at 20 psi. I got bad wheel hop once, but every time I broke em loose, they would just stick and pull me out of the hole. Will go lower at the track.
Yea I know, I should test a bunch of different pressures. I just want to save every last piece of friction on my clutch for when I go to the track. Thought some one would know.
I have a set of 14" nitto drag radials for my front wheels. They are on a seperate set of wheels and I only use them on nights when I know I'll be racing. What psi should I set them to when I am street racing (drag)? What about when I go to the track?
Thanks.
I would get the act xtreme pressure plate with the street/strip disc. Unless you have lots and lots of power this is all you will need. I have the xtreme plate with a solid 6 puc on my jdm h22 and it takes a lot of concintration to drive on the street, but when it grabs, it grabs hard! It is...
