Thank you everyone for your advice and input on what I should do to my car... I'm pretty sure its a base civic hb cause it has drum brakes in back and a 4 speed stick.... one more question though about the engine in there.... the valve cover says 16 valves on it.... wouldn't that make it dual...

Ive got tons of time... I only paid 300 bucks for the car and im not really gonna be doing very much daily driving in it (mostly just weekend driving and taking it to the track)... so is B16 the best bet out of everything and what do those normally cost?.... I'm also planning on eventually...

Hey B16CRX, I think your cars VTEC isnt kicking in cause it saw the blue v6 stang next to it a couple times and got depressed.... I'm just playing bro.... I don't know if Lilly told you but I just got an 88 civic HB... Its got a blown headgasket now but during the summer I'm gonna probably swap...
