ok will try wire up the z6 manifold, if i have any problems i will post up pics as it will be easier for you to understand rather than me try describe it to you as i dont really know about the electrical side of it yet
just another quick question, can i run the y7 inlet manifold on the z6 head without any problems? if someone can tell me asap as im doing the engine just now
thanks
broonie
i have both looms here but i think i have to change a few wires around as the inlet manifold is completely different on both engines and a few plugs look different
cheers

ive managed to get hold of the wiring loom for the z6 but ive noticed that unlike my y7 loom the z6 loom doesnt plug straight into the ecu, is there another part of the loom i need to get before i can use this to plug into a p28?
cheers

for the transmission you will be better getting a hold of transmision from a crx/civic siR if possible as it will bolt straight in with the conversion mounts and will save alot of hastle and money trying to convert your d series transmision to fit the b series, although ive never heard of that...
a few people i have spoken to who have put k's in their civics and crx's have all said to me that they wish they had gone for the b series as they are cheaper, easier and better power for money to tune than the k series, but then again the b series engine is 20 years old so alot more tuning part...
forgot to add
i wouldnt recomend going for a b20 gearbox as they are not designed for high revs and are only geared for a small offroad vehicle ;)
i dont know what the us equivalent of a uk/jdm sir or vt is but try get yourself one of those boxes prefferebly with a lsd, found in most jdm...
hi
you will need a gearbox from an ef civic fitted with a b series engine in order for it to bolt straight in, im not sure what civics in america have b series engines fitted as standard otherwise you will need to modify other boxes from the likes of integra's and later civic's,also i assume...
