I would go for a rebuild and a turbo sounds like the best bang for the buck. I think you will be very pleased with the results both on the road and in your wallet.
Just a tip when every I powerwash my car I do it while it's running and leave it running for a min of 15 or so after the wash. Use common sense please. It's been a common pratice at every shop I worked at. Just helps with evaporation.
You need to get the correct ecu for your application. The ecu that comes with your d15 3 stage is the one you need. Then just wire up the vtec and vtec pressure switch.
Yeah the D15b head is a z6. The additin of vtec would be great go for the swap. The head will bolt on. Search around their is a lot of info on that swap. z6/d16a= cool.
