If you check the honda-tech sponsor forum there are a bunch of stores selling slim fans for cheap. It's $50 for a 12" $40 for 10". 10" flows 12-1400cfm and 12" flows 1600cfm. (I'm pretty sure the stock fan pulls 750cfm). Both do push or pull and they both have free shipping on vsracing.net/store.

No misrouted coolant lines. I did loop the colant line from the iacv to the return port on the mani bypassing the fitv and the smoking has greatly reduced. I remembered hearing that coolant that warms up the throttle body/fitv sometimes leaks into the mani. Now the smoke is barely visable...

You gotta use the manual bracket if you are using a manual tranny. also there are 2 ways to mount the throttle cable. i am using a z6 intake mani and it's the same routing as the d15 had. if you are gonna keep the y7 mani you can move the throttle cable bracket towards the fire wall 1 bolt...

even if the oil is not milky?

it smells coolant like and pretty strong. any other suggestions? i'm gonna get an engine gasket kit and arp head studs and see if the problem still exists. Good idea? and no felpro gaskets, dont worry

Now im leaning towards a blown head gasket. although i dont have creamy oil i think i'm gonna replace it just to be sure thats not the source of the problem

How easy is it to crack/break the intake manifold. i put in a y7 in my eg on friday and it ran fine minus the irratic idle. i had no luck locating an iacv so i put on a d15 intake mani. once it was on i remembered coolant leaked around the gasket into the 4th cylinder so i figured there was...

i used a d15b7 engine harness on the y7. most sensors hooked up. i had to cut off some d15 sensor plugs and solder the d16 plugs on. i know i had to use the d16 iac valve plug. Ill remember the others when i get back to the shop. if i remember i'll get wire colors also. -757 Motorsport-
