I very well could be wrong, but you may not have a fuel pump relay, if you know the pump is good, then I'd be willing to bet there is an open in the factory harness, or a bad ground....

All you have to do is look at the block, and that will tell you exactly what you need for an identical swap :)

Crazy question, but could it be a possibility that you have a CKP that isn't sending a signal?

I'm also betting on the coil, although it sounds weird that cleaning the TB was the final staw for the little guy

Same thing happened to me, not the dizzy though, 'twas my ignition coil.... changed the plugs and wires, started up fine, then died.

Hello everyone, long time lurker here, been searching to see if anyone has had a question similar to the one I have. Finally I've decided that it's worth it to post up here, lots of good info to be had. I have an EJ8 that I'm wanting to take to some track days. As it stands, it's still going...
