the wierd thing is that it doesn't do it all the time. it may be some type of sensor that is going out. maybe the map sensor like you said but do you know how to check it by volts. the is no check engine light on and wouldn't it turn on if its the map sensor?

no codes but i checked it with voltmeter and at idle is .29 volts

when i disconnect my throttle position sensor plug on the sensor the is no difference in performance is that normal? i think when i disconnect it idles a little bit higher almost nothing

would i have to buy the wide band because i have seen the on ebay for about 450 and that seems like alot just to test it or is there anywhere that they can do it.

sorry i meant when i let off smoothly it DOESN'T drop to 300

the car does idle high and when I rev it and let go of the gas quickly the rpm drops to like 300 and then idles at 1300 but if i rev it and i let off the gas "smoothly" it does drop all the way to 300

YEAH I CHECKED THEM OVER AND OVER ACCORDING TO THE MANUAL

IM RUNNING A P61 ECU AND NO CODES ARE THERE ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO LEAN IT OUT

because my spark plugs are white and so is my o2 sensor and it eat gas pretty quick
