I had the same problem, had to replace the ventilation control . the signal was not getting to the A/C clutch.

update Update: I took the down pipe to a machine shop and they used a plasma cutter to modify the pattern for a perfect fit.

I just swap a h23 to a h22 in my 93 prelude si I got a H22 down pipe but it is wider bolt pattern at the H23 converter connection. Question: do I have to get a h22 exhaust system??!!!:o Anyone with experience with this particular problem please help. Thanks.
