h22 catylatic converter

I just swap a h23 to a h22 in my 93 prelude si I got a H22 down pipe but it is wider bolt pattern at the H23 converter connection. Question: do I have to get a h22 exhaust system??!!! Anyone with experience with this particular problem please help.

Just take it to an exhaust shop, they can rig up something for you. They'll probably just hack the end of the down-pipe and replace it with one that bolts up to the Si's cat.

Or you could buy a cat converter and exhaust meant for an H22-equipped car. If you want to do it cheaply though, just take it to an exhaust shop...

Buy a welder? There worth buying. It will pay for its self in no time

Update: I took the down pipe to a machine shop and they used a plasma cutter to modify the pattern for a perfect fit.
