I used the stock harness on my 96 hatch so i wouldn't have to do the obd2a to obd2b harness ecu plug swap. If everything else is working I would just run seperate wire from vtec solenoid to ecu. http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/tech/6gtech.html

mine didn't come with cable. You will need the GSR cable and GSR fuel line from filter to fuel rail. Magestic Honda online parts is cheapest place I could find. The crv a/c bracket is alot cheaper. are u getting obd2 motor? If so the Jdm ecu will plug into your obd2a harness and Jdm engine will...

Reseach all your parts before you start. Label all you plugs on harness before you remove it from the D motor. Don't get in a rush, it was fun to do and I would do it again. Let me know if I can help.

shape of box is different. I think the US one is more square then the JDM from what I remember from my swap. You have to ground out the small plug near the ECU to get the CEL to flash for the codes.

US scanner won't work on JDM ecu.

Thanks. I planned for the swap for awhile to make sure I thought of everyhing I could. I am very happy with how it came out.

It took about 2 weeks to get the motor from Hmotors. I started the swap on a Friday morning and had it running by about 2:00pm Sat. so little less than 2 days for the swap. Here a couple pics before swap and of car.

Thanks, the motor came pretty clean from HMotors online. I spent an hour or two on the engine bay with simple green and scrub brush after removal of old motor. :)

your ek harness for sure. I used the wiring stuff for the web link I posted up a few hybrid 6g something like that. It was not hard at all. Hardest part was tryn to get the pins out of the ek harness ecu plug.

Ya i figure I spent about $4000 after all said and done. Motor 3200 shipped new mounts, hoses, timing belt, water pump, tensioner, bought carbon fiber intake from password jdm, oil change, honda manual tran fluid, and few other things I'm sure prob took it to $4000 ish
