i had an s1 tranny in my crx with a b16 and ofcourse the syncrose went for a shit so i got a ys1 tranny to replace it i got the trany out and now i checks the clutch disk on the input shaft and it does not go on, i measure with a micrometer and got a difference of 40 thou. larger on the new one...
:huh: what year moldle of civic is it and what motor is in it ? what do you mean by "tops out" does the rev limiter kick on ? or does it red line(highly unlikey) or does it just not acelerate ?
IT PROBABLY NEEDS A DISTRIBUTOR, MY B16A CRANK SENSOR FAILED CHECK THE BIG PLUG ON YOUR DISTIBUTORAND SEE WITHA OHM METER IS THERE IS CONTINUITY WITH ANY OF THE PINS AND THE BODY OF THE DISTRIBUTOR
does anybodyt know of a place in toronto and surounding are that may sell a wiring harness for a b16a into a 88 crx i can wire it by myself but if i can get a harness it would be alot faster..........lemme know thanx :blink:
