ok let me clear things up
from JDM resources i've found was, ZC is definitely a D-series, sorry for my earlier statement.
but not all D-series are ZC
because the ZC has the word 'ZC' on the engine block, I'll try get a pic of it.
please don't be mad :P
DA8 is a 4 doors Integra with B16A1 engine
My EF2 is a 4th gen Civic hatch (DX).... both are JDM
I'm from Malaysia btw... dun have cc to buy anything from the net, cuz I'm still a student.
if it's true, it's clear enough then, but if I'm not mistaken, JDM doesn't recognize the sohc D-series as ZC
the only ZC version of the D-series is the one which stamped ZC on the block, that's why they call em ZC
I have one complete DA8 DOHC VTEC (auto tranny) front cut and will swap the engine into my 1988 EF2. I want to know what are the parts that still can be used with my EF2 besides the engine?
BTW how about the motor mounts? I wont be getting any Hasport or mount kits because they're hard to find...
ZC engines are 'not really' D-series, it may have the same spec as D-series but only available in DOHC non-VTEC spec rated at 130ps.
At the engine block stamped ZC... not D16 or whatsoever. :P
