That keypad doesn't make sense to me, but figure it can be tucked somwhere.
For the price, why not have passive entry and keyless start? I can't imagine just power locks would be significantly cheaper.
Is it excessive for a 22 year old car? Maybe. But it's also my commuter, so some modern...
Thought about bringing the slushbox into the 21st century. Currently, it doesn't even have keyless entry.

Reviews seem good and I'm not really afraid of wiring. Has anyone any...
It's a great platform, but they are also a dime a dozen. If they are saying the motor is toast, I wouldn't pay more than a few hundred bucks for it. What are they asking for it?
Same here. It's pretty great to just go out and unwind. I would love to use it to commute, but I go in when its still dark out and have to take canyon roads. I just don't trust other drivers that much.
Nearly unchanged for almost 30 years. They must have done something right. The updated versions (300/500) are awesome too. Rode a 300 during a Motorcycle Training Course a few weeks back. I could see myself finding a nice used Rebel 500 in a few years to allow for highway riding.
Got my endorsement and picked up a Rebel 250.
Love the minor modifications the previous owner made to the bike. Also love the riding position. I'm still learning, riding around the neighborhood by my house. I definitely look forward to the next day I can hop on it still.
Bike's not perfect...
My friend who referred me pushed for more and they told him take it or leave it, it's above average for the industry/market. I also didn't want to create a situation where the offer was rescinded. At the end of the day, I want out of the current job. The new one sounds like a much better...
Had an awkward in person conversation yesterday. Sounds like he was thinking of countering, but I said my offer was not close to me current compensation. Flat out lie. I just don't want to work here.
If they want to get spiteful, that's fine. I'll essentially get the time off I was hoping for. Honestly, I think my boss is up to something. He specifically asked me to not inform my team of my decision yet. Not really sure why.
They came back and said they need me in 2 weeks. Apparently I was slated to start at the same time as another person, but they did not accept their offer. Is what it is. I have some PTO to burn, since my current only pays out vacation, so I'll only have a 3 day work week next week.
They asked for a start date and I said I would want to give my current adequate notice. I know they want someone in thew role ASAP, but I reached out to the recruiter.
"Would it be possible to push my start date 1 week? This would go a long way to smooth my transition, and not burn any...
Just accepted an offer. The company is highly recommended based on my friend's stellar reviews of working there. He has a similar mindset about work as I do. I guess time will tell.
Was really hoping to take a week in between jobs and go get my Integra in NJ, but IDK if that can happen now.
Another thread back from the dead, haha. I've been thinking about picking up a GoPro. Just got my motorcycle license. Strap a mount to my helmet, have another in my vehicle to use as a dash cam. Might as well right?
