I thought that the b16a2 was Obd2a 99 civic si not sure but if the motor is obd1 there is a way to convert it to obd2 and make the obd2 ecu work with it. just have to get misc parts to convert the motor.

If you buy a 96 and newer B18b1 or have one in mind Ill have everything you need to do this all you need is the motor its self...

Do you have a jack under neith the motor??? the motor and tranny are puting a lot of wheight on that mount . try using a jack to get the wheight off of the bracket then try and remove it with a impact thats what i did.
