I've swapped a JDM B16A (from Del Sol SiR-II) into my EG5 (D16Y1 SOHC VTEC).
Among other problems, the main one I am left with is the ELD code.

now from my research etc, I've had to source a JDM Fuse box that actually has the ELD as the AUSTRALIAN EG5 doesnt have...
I think the secondary IM butterfly valve is OPEN by default, and the ECU closes it when it starts up.. so if the ECU doesnt look for it, it will remain in the OPEN position.
Alternatively, you can dissable the solenoid and have it open (mannually) permanently.
but the GSR IM is not very well...
