I've swapped a JDM B16A (from Del Sol SiR-II) into my EG5 (D16Y1 SOHC VTEC).
Among other problems, the main one I am left with is the ELD code.
"Electrical Load Detector"
now from my research etc, I've had to source a JDM Fuse box that actually has the ELD as the AUSTRALIAN EG5 doesnt have any ELD.
I've wired the ELD to the pinout, and to an earth, but the last wire left has to go to the PGMFI MAIN RELAY.
this is the problem. I only have the US Haynes manual for SOHC EG (LHD) and my civic is RHD etc.. the donor motor is JDM and I cannot find any JDM SiR-II wiring diagrams so I can locate the Main Relay.
I THINK the PGMFI Main Relay is under my steering wheel in that fuse panel, but I have no idea how ti rig the ELD to it. My SOHC (USA) manual says to go via 'junction C415' I think but who knows where THIS is either.
I've used the JDM B16A engine side wiring harness, and the SOHC VTEC firewall side harness..
