This is beyond my skills, but understand it a bit. When I replace it it works for a while, then shorts out again. Will have to trace it out, like you said.
Not sure where you are talking about. Would this make the engine not run right? It sounds like it is almost there, but something is just not right...Like I said before...gurgling, or not a steady rev when you drive or just rev it...very crackle...if that makes since.
Turns out the chugging was from a ground wire not being connected...drove around and another radiator hose blew...now...yes I said NOW!...it is running and will go okay...but is it like it is just not quite smoth...it idols fine, but when you drive, it sounds a bit gurgally...tried tuning the...
Okay. Fixed the head gasket...vehicle still chugging. Changed the O2 sensor, spark plugs...fuel filter, cleaned the cap and rotor...all vacuum lines check...checked the Cat converter...thats not clogged...or the muffler...only thing left is the distributer...hope this is it...heard the coil...
When I put it back on, it wouldn't go in...when I looked at the distributor I had to rotate it so it would go back in. I think it only goes in one way...thoughts???
Question. If you fix the problem that caused the check engine light to come on, do you have to clear it after you fix the problem, or will it go off by itself?
I did just replace the head...there were spark plugs in there and i didn't change them...was thinking I should replace the plugs...The weird thing is it happens when the RPM get up there. Seems the speed/torq is not there either...this car used to get up and go.
