    More torque please

    i have done multiple swaps for people in my area and i have almost always put in a new clutch. I use a 1/2 in. impact on the flywheel, and 3/8 air ratchet on the pressure plate bolts. I have done this on my own personal motors as well and i have yet to have any problems with it.

    if i were your i would do a leakdown test, if it is white smoke it is more than likely oil burning. you may have bad rings or you may need to lapp your valves so they seat properly. but most definatly adjust your timing.

    Is this a goodidea?

    auto to manual change over is a pain in the butt, i did on my brothers 98 accord and it took us 8 hours off non stop work, and we have been done engine swaps inless time. like eveyone else says sell your car and by a manual, it will be easier and in the long run cheaper.

    Red Line early!!!!

    If you are using a vtec ECU, and vtec is not kicking in then the rev limiter will kick in early, for instance on a pr3 (1st gen b16) w/vtec working 8200 rpm, no vtec 7100 rpm. hope this helps.
