i did the z6 swap into my del sol. i got an ecu from a junk yard... should be able to find one pretty easy. you will also need the driver side motor mount off the b7. you could prolly get tranny with the engine for less than $500

never mind... i found the prob... for those who need to know there is a controller next to the fuse compartment on the kick panel. this is not mentioned in the haynes repair manual! they suck!!!!!!!! :) popped a new one in and everything is gravy.

i don't think it would "not" make it work, so long as the engine is running at least 160+ degrees. does the engine get warm?

also remember that vtec won't kick in until the engine is at normal operating temp. so if you have a low temp thermostat in it, that may be affecting it as well.

yep yep sounds like bad connection to me too. however, the gadges should not be affected by the radio... that makes me think it's more universal than the amp. could be the leads going to the fuse box under the dash... could even be a loose battery post. might wanna check the battery...
