yeah, I understand that, however the company that sold me this tranny told me that it was 100% LSD, and the bar doesn't cross through the hole like most do...the illustration on the right side of the diagram is what my diff looks like. The center of the bar is hollow all the way through.
Hi guys, I was told this transmission is LSD, but all the pictures of LSD I've seen have been hollow all the way through. There is kind of a bar in it, but it's a hollow bar. (you can see straight through the very center). Was just wondering if anybody could verify whether or not this actually...
Hi people, my B18C arrived with a severed engine wiring harness. Rather than fucking around with the old harness, I'll probably get a new one. My question is, will a USDM 92-95 civic engine wiring harness work? The motor is from japan, and it's OBD1.
If not, what do I get?
Anyone know of some good mufflers for this application? I don't want no fuckin' fart cannon bullshit. I want to keep things high flowing, but relatively low volume. And as always, it's gotta sound nice ;)
hey buddy...Im from NS too. And yes it does matter to an extent. You're gonna want to keep it OBD2. Makes things easier.
And I just purchaced a 2000 civic hatch (SE), but am planning on putting an OBD1 GSR B18 in it so it can be easily tuned for boost. I don't know exactly what I'm getting into...
Can anyone explain to me what I'll need for electrical components to get a JDM obd1 B18C into a 2000 Civic hatch? This will be boosted in the future...
I Thought I read somewheres that it's alot easier to tune an OBD1 for boost applications. Is that true?
And what else would I need to make a JDM B18 GSR fit? As far as I know, it should only be a conversion harness of some sort.
I am planning the same build with a gsr B18C. The motor I will buy will come with motor mounts and an ecu already, however will these motor mounts (i presume off an integra) bolt right up to the 99 civ?

Another question though, is it feasable to swap a single gear in a B series transmission? (ie 5th from a LS into a GSR)
