    vtec engaging at 4500...!

    okay i know vtec should kick in at 5500 rpm, but for some reason mine engage at 4500 rpm. I have a obd2 car completely rewired for obd1 with an obd 1 gsr motor.     question about vtec solenoid?

    to my understanding i heard vtec solenoids are interchangeable? can you swap one from a h22 to a b18c? are there any gains?
