    The p28 is from speedinnovations.com and it is supposed to be tuned to my engine setup. I have been messing with the cam and the ignition timing. So far only low end torque improved, midrange and top end seem to be the same. What else can I do myself for tuning?

    Compression bump, cams and the other mods helped to bring some more life out of this motor @ low rpm but the vtec seems to be taking from that. Maybe it is a good idea to engage it @ higher rpm.     I forgot to mention that this problem was there with the stock ecu. Could it be possible that the vtec solenoid is bad?
