Are you just using water or are you using anything to scrub it? Well you can use WD40 and a rag and that will work. Also you can use any carb cleaner that will work fine as well. What? :blink:

Save your money and get a swap then buy mods. BTW if you got a turbo then spend the money to put it on.

No it will be fine. I didn't put any on mine the past few times I did a swap and it never leaked. If it makes you feel better you can but I wouldn't bother. (It also says to replace the transmission mounting bolts after you remove them too and my transmission is still on ;) )

The VSS on my jdm b16 was jacked up after my swap so I repinned the plug. This still didn't work so I went to the junk yard and got a VSS of a Prelude. It's been working fine since. You might want to just pull it and bring it to the junk yard or parts store to get the right match. A USDM...

Yeah....if you want to rewire your whole car buy the electrical trouble shooting manual.  But even a basic Chilton or Haynes will have a schematic in the back that tells you where all the wires go.  If you want to know what each part is plus the wiring then buy the SHOP MANUAL.

Shop manual should cover it all.

I bought a 2nd gen b16 and dropped it in my civic and was not happy with how slow it was. I pulled the cams and they had an " H " stamped near mid cam. I then pulled the cams out of my other 2nd gen b16 (with a cracked block) and they had a " D " stamped near mid cam. I put the " D's " in and...

I thought that the first gen had white connectors not grey connectors? If it is a first gen would my wiring harness fit? Also there is no distributor on it so I can't check the plugs from it but how do you check the injector plugs? Should I post some pics?

No the intake looks the same it's just the fuel rail and the markings on the head that are different (pr3-3 and the new one says pr3-4).

I have a 92 Civic so I guess I will get the Del Sol book. All I need is the the specs for the engine and transmission. Does the Del Sol book have any Civic information in it or is it just the Del Sol?
