yep gsr bolts, I have this setup in my hatch, the only thing that the b16 head does better is it flows a little better than the gsr, performance is about the same as a stock gsr

97=obd2 get and obd2 swap 96+ or get an obd1 swap and convert your ecu to obd1, obd0 isn't worth it seeing that your car is obd2 and already uses a hydroulic clutch, easiest swap will be an obd2.

you can use your stock motor mounts for b series swap, get an obd1 swap and you'll need the tranny no d tranny will bolt up to a b motor, you can get an ls swap cheap (b18b1) and have a fun car, I have a b18c1 which is way more fun but it isn't "fast" but with the right parts i.e. cams, pistons...
