I posted a while back that we were having problems with a type R(K Series) swap into a civic SI. Anyway that engine went back to the engine dealer, and we got a Type S engine with type R cams. We loaded that engine into the car, went to honda, and got the VIN number changed in the computer so the type S ecu would work in the SI, and wow, the car hauls ass......
Ive rode in many modded hondas, so Im going to say the butt 1/4 mile timer is reading low 13's. The engine has Type R cams, intake, header, exhaust. and you also have to remember AEM dynoed the intake on the Type S and it gave it 24 horse power at the wheels. So theres at least 230hp, then you have a header, and an exhaust. I would get pictures, but it looks stock, because the engine is pretty much the same, except for the internals......
butt dyno says it has about 255hp.
