1990 accord

i have a customer that has a 1990 accord w/f22b engine have not looked at it yet but it has a spun rod bearing and its just cheaper to replace engine but she does not know what tranny is in it other than its a 5 sp and she knows it has a swap done to it from research i found a f22b for $845 and a f22a1 $695 ( the stock engine i think) but i guess the question is if the f22a1 is the true stock engine with that tranny will it work on the f22b at all? or do you think the last owners swaped out the tranny when they swaped out the enigne any help is greatfull cos it will save her money in the long run

yes that tranny will bolt up just fine to any accord or prelude motor 92+ years you choose
